The Main Post Office in Tarnowskie Góry is housed in one of the largest buildings of the city, erected in 1909 according to the design of Hane, a Berlin architect, at the one of the finest streets of the city, now bearing the name of Marshal Piłsudski. The building was erected in a fairly rapid pace. Its architecture combines elements of Art Nouveau and neoBaroque. To this day, it has retained some interior decorations. It was listed as a monument in 1996.
