11 Listopada Street is the main promenade of Bielsko-Biała. It is a shopping street and once it was a trade route. It runs through the historic center of the Old Town of Biała. It is 900 metres long. The origins of the street go back to the mid-eighteenth century, when it was given its present shape in 1772-1785. In that time, it was called Krakowska Street. Most of the buildings along the street date from the late eighteenth and the early nineteenth centuries and represent the so-called Josephine style, which was then promoted in the Austrian Empire.
