The church of Saint Augustine in Świętochłowice is located in Lipiny, a district just north of the city centre. It was built in 1872 thanks to the efforts of the local workers and owners of the metallurgical and mining company. The brick church was built on the Latin cross plan, in neo-Gothic style. From the outside, our attention is drawn by a stone portal with statues of saints. Inside, it is worthwhile to see stained-glass windows designed by Adam Bunsch.
