The Church of Saint Adalbert, located at Plac Klasztorny (Monastery Square) in Bytom, is closely related to the 750- year history of the Bytom Franciscans, who were probably brought here in 1258. For centuries, Saint Nicholas was the patron of the church. Saint Adalbert became the patron after the Second World War. The present church is a baroque building with a Gothic choir. The interior also is in the Baroque style.
