Ujejsce is now one of the districts of Dąbrowa Górnicza. In the fifteenth century, it was a large ancestral village of the Ujejski family of the Nowina coat of arms. They had a few hamlets, after which some traditional names have remained to this day. which are still used by the elderly residents. In the vicinity of the local parish church, you can find remnants of the manor, which once stood here. There are also a fragment of the enclosure and a baroque wooden chapel, built in 1784. Its patron saint is Saint Catherine of Alexandria.
