The parish of Saint James in Sączów is one of the oldest in the western part of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie. It was established together with the erection of the first church as early as 1224. The present building of the church dates from the second half of the nineteenth century, and it was built in an Eclectic style combining neo-Romanesque and Gothic elements. Inside, it is worthwhile to see a seventeenth-century high altar with the image of Our Lady of Grace of Sączów.
