In Kocoń, a village between the Little Beskid and the Pewelski Range in the Makowski Beskid, there is the Chapel of the Transfiguration, which commemorates (according to tradition) a battle from the time of the Bar Confederation. The chapel was erected by Father Antoni Antałkiewicz in the 1860s, in the Centennial of the Confederation. This stone building is covered with a gable roof and topped with a turret. Inside, there is an altar with an image of Christ and a statue of Christ the Man of Sorrows.
