The Lutheran church in Tarnowskie Góry is one of the oldest in Upper Silesia. Its origins date back to the 20s of the sixteenth century. It was then when the first Protestant church was erected. It is the present parish church of Saints of Peter and Paul. The origins of the Church of the Savior at the Tarnowskie Góry market go back to the second half of the eighteenth century. The shrine is the result of remodeling of an older building, which was made in 1900. It gave the church a raw, neo-Romanesque design
