Goczałkowickie Lake (Goczałkowicki Reservoir) - this is a dam reservoir on the Vistula River created in 1956. Its maximum area is 3,200 ha, and a total capacity of about 168 million m³. The length of the dam - 2980 m. It is a reservoir that supplies water to the part of the Upper Silesian Industrial District. In addition to water supply, it also has retention and economic functions (fishing industry).
In the vicinity of the lake there are breeding places for numerous species of birds. It is forbidden to enter the tank area. For pedestrians and cyclists, a "walking part" was created linking Goczałkowice-Zdrój with Zabrzeg, so a recreational area was created near the lake.
