The memorial commemorating the Battle of Grunwald was erected in 1910 to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the great victory. The monument was destroyed by the Germans in 1939. The new eagle cast in bronze in the late 80s of the twentieth century and the obelisk were renovated at the beginning of this century. The monument was unveiled 2005. On this occasion, the residents paid homage to the heroes of our modern history, the so-called cursed soldiers, who had died in the land of Żywiec.
