The cave has been formed in the upper Jurassic limestone in the Kielniki quarry, near the Przymiłowice-Kotysów village. The cave was discovered at the beginning of the 1970s during the exploitation of the quarry. The cave extend along an longitudinal slot in an overall east-west orientation. Three distinguishable chambers were formed as a result of slides of rock blocks of various sizes. A number of interesting silicon nodules formed by water can be seen on the walls.
The “Kamieniołom Kielniki” geological path [blue signs] leads to the cave entrance. The route begins on ul. Kościelna [historic granary] – the location of the trail signboard.
