The village of Wąsocz Górny lies on the northern edge of the Silesian voivodeship, in the bend of the Warta river. The tower of the parish church dominates over the village. The church built in the mid-nineteenth century and expanded in the next century. It is worthwhile to see the Wąsocz Calvary with chapels commemorating the Passion. There is also a monument dedicated to the insurgents of the January Uprising, who died in battle with the Russians in 1863.
