Located among the forests, the village of Rudy is
known primarily for the old Cistercian abbey and
the Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin
Mary. To the east of the parish church, it is
worthwhile to visit a cemetery, which has been
operating on this site since the late seventeenth
century. The neo-Romanesque church of Saint Mary
Magdalene can be found on the cemetery. In its
vicinity, we can see, among others, the tombstone
of Juliusz Roger, a doctor and social activist, who
still remains in the memory of the local population.
