The church in Bestwina may have existed a long time ago, but there are not reliable sources which can prove it. The present brick church was built in the second half of the sixteenth century on the place of a wooden object. The equipment of the church includes the bell called "King of Glory," which has a war exile. On the nearby cemetery, Leon Karol Habsburg is buried. He was a Polish patriot - an officer fighting in the Polish-Bolshevik war
