One of the most interesting monuments in Zabrze is the house at 7 Cmentarna Street. This is an experimental building erected in 1927. Built on typical foundations, it has walls made of steel. It is currently the best example of this type of architecture that is represented in several other buildings, jokingly called "cans". These were prefabricated buildings, which were erected in less than a month.
