Rychwałd is a beautifully situated village. It lies amid not too high Beskid hills (near Żywiec, in the commune of Gilowice). Rychwałd is worth visiting because of a few monuments located here. Apart from the Marian shrine, well known in the land of Żywiec and the local manor and park complex, we can also see a wooden chapel dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
