St. Stanislaus Church in Old Bielsko is the oldest church in the city. According to tradition, the church was erected in the 1130s on the site of a deforested sacred pagan grove, in the vicinity of a defensive settlement, from which the city originated. The preserved church Gothic church was built at the end of the 14th century. The interior masterpiece is an altar triptych from about 1500. It depicts the life and miracles of Saint Stanislaus of Szczepanowo.
