In today’s Chorzów, there are a few buildings which serve or once served as the seat of the city government. One of those magnificent buildings can be found in the southern area of the city, which originally was the village of Hajduki, later renamed as Bismarckhütte, and in 1923, it was renamed again as Wielkie Hajduki and finally as Batory. The Town Hall was built in the neo-Baroque style in 1910.
