Wiithin the administrative boundaries of Bielsko-Biala, on steep, wooded slopes of the mountain ridge falling from the top of Mount Błatnia in the Silesian Beskids towards Mount Wapienica, there is the Jaworzyna wildlife reserve. This is one of the youngest protected areas in the Beskids. The plant communities typical for the lower forest floor are protected here. The reserve lies in the complex of the wildlife and landscape complex of the Wapienica Valley.
