Rychwałd is a village situated near Żywiec. It lies in a picturesque mountainous area of the Pewelski Range, which is the westernmost part of the Makowski Beskid. In the village itself and its surroundings, there are are a few sights worth seeing, which primarily include the local shrine and the manor house, built in the first half of the nineteenth century. The manor house was renovated at the beginning of this century. Currently, it serves as a leisure center.
