The Reserve "Skarpa Wiślicka" is a partial reserve, located close to the village of Wiślica near Skoczów. In the area there are two protected forest communities of the fertile Carpathian beech forest and the foothill riparian ash. Several protected species also grow in the reserve. The reserve lying on a steep slope, cut by ravines, is located on the edge of the Vistula River valley, over the busy two-lane road no 81, connecting Katowice with Skoczów and Ustroń.
