The Ustroń Forestry Management administers the forest areas of various types, both situated in the highlands and lowlands. Since 1994, these forest communities have been part of the Forest Promotion Complex "Forests of the Silesian Beskid." The institution which popularizes knowledge of the local wildlife and the forest management is the Wildlife and Historical Chamber opened in 2007. It is worth visiting the local exhibition before setting off on a hike along the Beskid trails.
