The parish of Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles is the oldest in Skoczów. For centuries, it was witnessing difficult relations between Catholics and Protestants. The church was built in the style of the late Baroque, in 1762. Its interior is considered to be one of the most beautiful examples of Baroque in Cieszyn Silesia. In the shrine, the Skoczów Saint, Jan Sarkander, is especially venerated.
