According to the polls conducted by one of the Silesian newspapers, the church in Orzegów, a district of Ruda Śląska, is considered the most beautiful in the city. Originally, the church of Saint Michael was built in the neo-Gothic style in the late nineteenth century, but twenty years later, it was rebuilt in the neo-Romanesque style. The church was founded by Counts of Schaffgotsch, then owners of the Orzegów property.
