In the village of Cisiec, near Węgierska Górka, there is a church of Saint Maximilian Kolbe. The shrine was built in defiance of the communist authorities, which wanted to prevent the erection of the church on this spot. The church was built by the local people without the permission of the authorities on November 5, and on the night of 5 to 6 November 1972. Such a fast construction of the parish church in Cisiec was most aptly named "the miracle of one day"), and it illustrates the difficulties posed by the communist authorities, in order to prevent the construction of religious buildings.
The village of Cięcina, which lies at the bottom of the Silesian and Żywiec Beskids, boasts having a very interesting sacral monument. The Żywiec Archducal Brewery is one of the most famous and successful producers of beer in Poland. The history of the plant began in the mid-nineteenth century, when the decision was taken by Archduke Albrecht Friedrich Habsburg, the then owner of Żywiec to build a brewery. Many of the original brewery buildings have been preserved to this day. They were designed by Karol Pietschka. The Żywiec Brewery Museum astounds with modern solutions, where we will learn the history of the plant and the process of beer production.
The Church of Saint Andrew in Gilowice, in the district of Żywiec, until the mid-eighteenth century, stood in Żywiec in the village of Rychwałd, known today as the Marian shrine. The construction of the temple was completed in 1545, and it was consecrated in 1547 by Bishop Erasmus Ciołek. The founder of the church was probably Krzysztof Komorowski. In 1756, this church was moved to Gilowice, where it was added to the tower, which had stood here before.

Powstaliśmy 10 lat temu, aby spełnić nasze marzenia. Te związane z muzyką, końmi, jurą krakowsko – częstochowską i restauracją… Zapraszamy ! Zobaczcie je z nami.
