The gorge of the Warta River near Mstów is the name of a special area of protection of habitats in the Natura 2000 network, which covers a large part of the Mirowski Warta River Gorge, stretching over 12 km - from Częstochowa (in the west) to Mstów (in the east). It protects the natural part of the river valley with diverse plant communities and valuable species of animals. Natural features are complemented by scenic and historic attractions.

Częstochowa
The Warta is the third longest river in Poland. Its sources are located in Kromołów, which is a district of Zawiercie. It flows into the Oder river at Kostrzyń. The upper part of the river is very scenic and it is worth visiting, while kayaking from Częstochowa to any point in its lower reaches of the river. The Mirowski Rapid is particularly interesting, where the Warta breaks through limestone rocks of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland.

Starokrzepice
According to many kayakers, the Liswarta river is among the most interesting tourist rivers in central Poland. The river flows in its natural valley, winding through meadows and pine forests. The Liswarta is around 93 km in length, and the stretch of about 42 km long is suitable for kayaking rallies. Most frequently kayaks are put onto water in Danków (there are interesting monuments here), the rally then continues to Popów as far as to the mouth of the Warta river at in the village of Kule.

The Towarne Mountains are a group of picturesque hills covered with limestone rocks, lying about 3 km north of Olsztyn, a town near Częstochowa. Just below the northern slopes of the hills lies the village of Kusięta. The Towarne Mountains, which occupy a small area, are mostly treeless, and the highest peak called “Lisica” rises to 349 m above sea level The area is popular with climbers and cave enthusiasts.

Cieszyn
The Castle Brewery in Cieszyn was founded by Charles Ludwig Hapsburg, archduke of Cieszyn in the 1840s. It continued old medieval traditions of the local brewers, offering at the same time a new product, which was the then popular beer of the pilsner type. Today, together with the Żywiec Brewery, it belongs to the Heineken Company.
