Złoty Potok
"Parkowe" is a forest and landscape reserve, just south of Złoty Potok. The most picturesque part of the Wiercica river valley, with rock formations, springs, streams and man-made ponds occupies a protected area of over 155 hectares. Almost the entire reserve is forested. In this area we will also encounter a few monuments. A lot of hiking trails, including Eagles' Nests Trail runs through the reserve.

Kłobuck
Dębowa Góra is one of the hills of the Wieluń Upland, belonging to the range of the Kłobuckie Pagórki (the Kłobuck Hills). The name comes from old oak trees (some of them are 200 years old). They and other species cover the area. The reserve "Dębowa Góra" is one of the six nature reserves located within the area administered by the forest inspectorate of Kłobuck. In the reserve mixed forests are protected, with a predominance of oak.

The Eagles' Nests Landscape Park is one of the interesting most protected areas of Silesia (part of the park is also located in the province of Lesser Poland), and at the same time, it is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Poland. The park, which covers the central part of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, has valuable natural objects, as well as many historical sites. The park's name comes from the majestic castles erected on limestone rocks called Eagles’ Nests. The area is crisscrossed with a dense network of hiking trails.

Herby
The Upper Liswarta Forests Landscape Park lies in the region of the vast woodlands between Częstochowa and Lubliniec. The region differs considerably from other parts of the Silesian Voivodeship, and it resembles other quite different areas of Poland. Low-lying, partly swampy areas, a picturesque river valley, a few wildlife reserves attract hikers who prefer off the beaten tracks.

Ustroń
The Reserve "Czantoria" lies on the northern slopes of Wielka Czantoria (995 m) in the Silesian Beskid, within the administrative boundaries of Ustroń. It protects forest plant communities, including the biggest oddity: an over 150-year-old beech-fir forest mixed with the ash. In the reserve we may encounter many protected species of plants and animals. Occasionally, even wolves and lynxes can be found here. Marked hiking trails and a forest nature path run through the reserve.

Pszczyna
The Model Pen for the European Bison is located a few hundred meters from the historic center of Pszczyna, within Pszczyna Park (whose part is also known as Game Park). In the park, you can see these beautiful creatures, as well as other species of animals. There is also an exhibition presenting the wildlife of the Pszczyna region. An educational trail makes sightseeing even easier.

Podlesice
Mount Zborów, also known as Mount Berków, is an extremely picturesque hill. It is a popular tourist destination in the heartland of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The hill rises to a height of 462 m above sea level. The inanimate nature reserve called "Góra Zborów” also comprises the nearby mountain called Mount Kołoczek. The reserve covers an area of 45 hectares. As a result of the karst processes accompanied by the forces of nature affecting the limestone rocks, numerous outcroppings, sinkholes and caves have been formed in the region.

Cieszyn
The reserve "Lasek Miejski nad Puńcówką” (The City Grove by the Puńcówka River) is one of the two similar protected areas in Cieszyn (the other one is „The City Grove by the Olza River"), which aims at preserving a flowering plant called cieszynianka and a part of the oak-hornbeam woodland.” The City Grove by the Puńcówka River“ is a partial flora reserve. It covers an area of 6, 96 hectares. It was created in 1961.

Bytom
Żabie Doły (roughly translated as "Frog Ditches") is a nature and landscape protected area in Silesia, located entirely within the limits of the cities of Bytom, Chorzów and Piekary Ślaskie. The local landscape resembles that of Masuria, a lake district in north-eastern Poland. Żabie Doły is a protected area of endangered species, including little bittern, Eurasian bittern and mute swan. Interestingly, it owes its appearance to many centuries of human activity, in particular underground mining and metal smelting.

Olsztyn
Sokole Góry – The Falcon Mountains is a cluster of hills not far from Olsztyn, a town near Częstochowa. The region is well known among hikers of the Polish Jura. It is one of the largest reserves in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The area comprises picturesque wooded limestone massifs of rocks and numerous natural curiosities. The Eagles' Nests Trail runs through the Falcon Mountains.

Jaworzynka
If a natural disaster happens that destroys all the trees in the Carpathian Mountains, a special task unit will take action. It is the Wyrchczadeczka Carpathian Gene Bank in Jaworzynka. The devastated forests will be brought to life thanks to the precious seeds of the Istebna spruce collected in the gene bank. It is, moreover, not the only secret of Jaworzynka. In the aviary on display one can see how they look after the capercaillie in Polish forests. For many, it may be a surprise to visit the Museum of Spruce.
