In the Centre of the village of Poraj is a square of marshal Józef Piłsudski. On the day of 12.09 1998 was ceremonially unveiled and dedicated a monument to Marshal. Today, thanks to the efforts of the authorities of the monument has been renovated and provides a place to rest, residents and tourists, and most entertainment place during the State festivities. Refurbished statue of Piłsudski is a place for flowers but also municipal pedestrian area, which allows the local community to the moments of respite. An important element of architecture, standing next to a statue of Marshal Józef Piłsudski are elements of green architecture: a variety of species of plants and flowers that create a perfect contrast.
