Jastrzębie-Zdrój
The church of All Saints in Jastrzębie Zdrój is located in the district Szeroka, in the northern part of the city. The parish of Szeroka was founded at the turn of the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. By the end of the eighteenth century, a small wooden church served the faithful. The brick church was built in the years 1796-1801. It is a Baroque-Classicist building. Inside, there are antique furnishings - mostly from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

Lyski
Lyski is a communal village located in the south of the Silesian voivodeship. In this old village it is worthwhile to see, among others, an Eclectic Church of Saint Margaret, as well as buildings of the old House of Paupers of Saint Joseph, which was founded by Józef Połednik in the middle of the nineteenth century. In the village cemetery an interesting funerary chapel of the Połednik family has been preserved.

Krzyżanowice
The church of Saint Anne in Krzyżanowice, a large village in the district of Racibórz, was built in the second half of the eighteenth century. It was erected on the site of an older, most likely wooden church. The building was constructed in the late Baroque style, but the tower has some characteristics of the Gothic and Renaissance styles. Above the portal there is a cartouche with the coat of arms of the long-term owners of Krzyżanowice, the Lichnowsky family, who founded the altar in the church.

Łubowice
Łubowice in the commune of Rudnik is a village, which was once a family estate of the Eichendorffs. Joseph von Eichendorff (1788-1857), a world famous Romantic poet, was born here. The museum dedicated to his memory is housed in a former school. In the village we can see a few relics of the past associated with the poet, including the ruins of the palace, where he was born. At the local cemetery, we can find the grave of the poet's parents, as well as an obelisk dedicated to Eichendorff, on which there is a relief with his likeness.

Jastrzębie-Zdrój
The first mention of the church of Saint Catherine of Alexandria comes from the inspection report made in 1652. The church was rebuilt in 1825, after a fire in 1811, as a late-Baroque building with some neo-Classicist elements. Inside the church, which is the work of the founders - the Strachwitz family - there is, among others, a triangular image of the Eye of Divine Providence from the late eighteenth century, a pulpit, a baptismal font, an image of St Catherine and a brick choir supported by arches. In 2012, the Archbishop of Katowice raised the church to the rank of the Sanctuary of Divine Providence.

Krzanowice
The imposing parish church of Saint Wenceslaus in Krzanowice stands in the vicinity of the market square of this small town, located in the south of the Silesian voivodeship. The building in the neo-Baroque style was erected on the site of an older, neo-Gothic church in 1914-1915. Inside, we will see eighteenth-century altars, a pulpit, and figures of saints, which come from the older church.

Cyprzanów
The Church of the Holy Trinity in Cyprzanów near Racibórz was built on the site of an old, wooden shrine, which burned down in 1861. It was erected in the then popular neo-Gothic style in the second half of the nineteenth century. The church is adorned with a polygonal tower crowned with a pyramidal helmet. Inside the church there are original stained glass windows in the presbytery and the high altar manufactured in the Winckler’s plant in Wrocław.

Lubomia
The Church of Saint Mary Magdalene in Lubomia was built in the second half of the nineteenth century. It was designed by Paul Jankisch, a Bytom architect and master builder and creator of several dozen churches. The neo-Gothic building was constructed of red brick. The interior is also neo-Gothic with a few older monuments from the older church.

Żory
The church of the Holy Apostles Philip and James in Żory is a special symbol of the spiritual life of the town. The building has a remarkable history of the building. It often fell victim to disasters and was rebuilt. The church was destroyed by fires and it was struck by lightning. Its ceiling and tower fell down. The church was also destroyed during the last war. In the shrine, which suffered so much from disasters, special veneration surrounds the benevolent image of Our Lady of Mercy, known as Our Lady of Żory.

Wojnowice
Wojnowice is a village near Racibórz mentioned in the fourteenth century, when it belonged to the property of the Dominican Convent Racibórz. There are historic monuments in the village, including a nineteenth-century palace, which was rebuilt in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, and the parish church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross. This church was erected in the style of late-Baroque and Neoclassicism in the late eighteenth century. It was rebuilt twice in the first half of the twentieth century.

Wodzisław Śląski
The Lutheran parish in Wodzisław Śląski is located in the former Franciscan church of the Holy Trinity. This is a fifteenth-century building, which was later rebuilt. It became part of the Franciscan monastery erected here in the seventeenth century. The monastery was dissolved in 1810. The entire complex is now one of the most precious of its kind in the region. While the church building itself serves as an Evangelical church today, the former monastery buildings house the District Courthouse.

Wodzisław Śląski
The church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Wodzisław is one of the landmarks of the town. The church was built in the Gothic style, as the third successive building on the same site. The history of the church and parish in Wodzisław testifies to the extraordinary determination and generosity of the faithful who were able to quickly rebuild it quickly after the war. Currently, the church is one of the main symbols of the town and is a landmark visible from afar.
