IX winter European Youth Olympic Festival will bring together approximately two thousand. young athletes from 46 countries (including Switzerland, Russia, Iceland, Finland, Slovakia, Belarus, Andorra, San Marino, Malta, Monaco, Cyprus and even Israel). Players will compete for 33 sets of medals were handed out in nine disciplines.
The hosts of the event are the following cities:
- Szczyrk (accommodation and base of the festival, the venue of ski jumping, nordic combined, alpine skiing and snowboarding)
- Wisla (track events)
- Cieszyn (figure skating)
- Bielsko-Biala (curling)
- Tychy (ice hockey).

- Young people with a torch relay race over a distance of White Cross - Szczyrk Center
