Landscape

Sanctuaries and beautiful, historic churches in the Jura invite you to admire the pearl of architecture and religious reflection. These areas are also an ideal resting place for those who are looking for silence, peace and unspoilt landscape. Active tourists, wishing to practice sports, have many attractions - professionally prepared hiking, biking and horse trails, as well as ski trails on which you can go wild. Jura is also a paradise for lovers of rock climbing and adventurers in caves.

Nature

It is a subregion whose characteristic features are limestone hills, deep valleys, vast forests and beautiful caves. Today these areas are simply called Jura. Numerous sanctuaries and historic churches encourage reflection - this is where the city of miracles is located - Częstochowa, and for those who love active recreation, numerous hiking, cycling and horse trails as well as ski runs and slopes have been created in the Jura. You can travel here along the Trail of the Eagles' Nests and learn about the secrets of Polish history. Jura is a paradise for lovers of rock climbing and adventurers in caves. Rock climbers and cavers, pedestrians and cyclists, motorcyclists, sailors and canoeists as well as horse-riding enthusiasts and skiers have their favorite places here.

Where to go?

Jura is one of the most beautiful tourist regions in Poland. The Eagles' Nests Trail, within the limits of the Silesian Voivodeship, is a bull's eye when it comes to choosing the direction of travel. The trails wind in there among beautiful, white rock outliers and castles and Jurassic strongholds.
