Internet users choose the best space in Cieszyn

Internet plebiscite ended the Best Public Space 2009 Silesian Voivodeship

Until this year, tenth edition, 1923 objects were reported. Information and photographs of all the proposals were placed on the website of the Province of Silesia. Internet users can read the description, pictures and location plan investments. For three of the best - in their opinion - realizations gave his vote, giving them respectively 5, 3, or 1 point.
In a poll two weeks more than 4,000 votes were cast. Access for the most interesting proposal had warehouse and office building complex "cane" in Cieszyn (5912 points). Just behind it (5642 points) was the "Demonstration Farm Bison in the Historic Park Pszczyna." Third place was taken by Theatre Forum and land development in Chorzow, scoring 4,356 points.

Regardless of voting online, the competition jury - members of the Provincial Committee of Urban Planning and Architecture - honor the best works of architecture and urban-grant awards of Silesian Voivodeship in three categories: urban planning, architecture and modernization.

Awards ceremony will be held Oct. 21 at the Silesian Days of Architecture.

Among those taking part in an online vote will be the chance to win prizes - promotional materials province.
