Silesian Tourist Information System („Śląski System Informacji Turystycznej ”) was implemented under Activity 3.3 of the Regional Operational Programme of Silesia for the years 2007-2013 "Tourist Information Systems."
The result of the project is the establishing of an efficient region-wide tourist information system, including an integrated network of tourist information centers, IT platforms and databases, creation of blazing system for areas attractive to tourism and publishing and distribution of free informational and promotional items.

The total costs of the project amounted to PLN 12 417 556.06, out of which PLN 10 554 922.65 (85%) from the European Regional Development Fund. Own resources (15%): PLN 1 862 633.41.
