Wojnowice
Wojnowice is a village near Racibórz mentioned in the
fourteenth century, when it belonged to the property of
the Dominican Convent Racibórz. There are historic
monuments in the village, including a nineteenth-century
palace, which was rebuilt in the late nineteenth and early
twentieth century, and the parish church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross.
This church was erected in the style of late-Baroque and
Neoclassicism in the late eighteenth century. It was rebuilt
twice in the first half of the twentieth century.
