The Czantoria Chairlift

The Czantoria Chairlift is the most modern in the Polish part of the Beskid Mountains. It enables active holidays in the mountains throughout the year. Within six minutes (!) the cable railway brings tourists to Polana Stokłosica, a glade stretching up to the height of 855 m above sea level. Here you can enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Silesian Beskid and Ustroń, ride on a summer toboggan run, or go up to the observation tower on the top of Czantoria or just go hiking - for example, along the Main Beskid Trail. In winter, there is excellent marked ski runs in the area.

The Motorcross Track in Cieszyn

The motorcross track in Cieszyn is located in Boguszowice, a northern district of the city, between Motokrosowa and Bukowa streets. The facility belongs to the titled Cieszyński Motor Club. The area of the track covers more than 11 hectares, and can be used by motorsport enthusiasts of such sports as enduro, motocross, quad or off-road. After the last modernization, the track is one of the most modern in Poland.

Mount Barania Góra

Mount Barania Góra, which rises to a height of 1,220 m above sea level, is the second highest peak in the Silesian Beskid. On its western slopes the streams of Biała and Czarna Wisełka have their origins. They soon merge at the foot of the massif and form the Vistula river. A network of hiking trails makes it possible to reach Mount Barania Góra from the town of Wisła and the Soła River valley, as well as to go a longer hiking towards Mount Skrzyczne. A nearby mountain hostel in Przysłóp provides Accommodation.

The Poraj Lake is a water reservoir in the commune of Poraj, not far from Częstochowa. It was created by damming the Warta river in the 70s of the twentieth century. It is a picturesque water body that has already blended in with the surrounding landscape. That is why, there are numerous cottages built around it. The lake also attracts anglers. However, bathing and swimming have been recently banned due to the water pollution.

Forests attract lovers of mushrooms, and a hiking trail which starts here leads along the range of Skały Kroczyckie.

The Stable "Biały Borek" in Biskupice

The Biały Borek Stable in Biskupice is a farmhouse at the foot of the Falcon Mountain wildlife reserve. It offers equestrian services, Accommodation and catering facilities. It is affiliated with the Centre for Equestrian Mountain Tourism of the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (which ensures an adequate level of services) and is located along the TransJura Equestrian Trail. Biały Borek is famous for cultural events and meetings with artists organized here.
