Members of the Foundation Gateway Cukermana "cordially invite you to the first opening after renovation before the war, the Jewish House of Prayer Cukermana.
By obtaining a grant from the Silesian Voivodship Conservator of Monuments in the past year, we managed to renovate and partially reconstructed precious wall paintings. In addition to restoration of paintings, small changes have been arrange the interior in an attempt to adapt it to meet with students and visitors and cultural events.
Effects of semi-annual maintenance work, workers and members and friends of the Foundation will be seen this weekend (ie, 6-7 March, 12.00-20.00) and every Saturday from 15.00-19.00 hours.
With tea and the sounds of Jewish music will be presented plans for next year.
Cukermana House of Prayer is one of about forty survivors and open to the public houses of worship with only one in Poland and Silesia.
