Tour de Pologne 2010 after twelve years, returning to Silesia. The race will be held on 1-7 August from 1257 km from Sochaczew to Krakow. Four of the seven stages will be held in our province. Dąbrowa Mining, Katowice, Sosnowiec, Tychy, Hawks Spa, Ustroń and the city of Cieszyn, which found themselves on the map 67 edition of TdP. This is a great promotion for the entire province of Silesia. The race will be televised, not only public television channel Eurosport as well as to over 50 countries.
Players take off on August 1 of Sochaczew. The first stage of the count will be 173.1 kilometers. Cyclists will travel through Zelazowa Wola, Pruszków and Konstancin Jeziorna to Warsaw. Already the second day of the race will visit the province. Silesia. Start the Rawa Mazowiecka, then riders will travel by burning, Tomaszów Mazowiecki, Piotrkow Trybunalski, Radomsko, Johns, Myszków, Zawiercie to Dąbrowa Mining. The third stage of Sosnowiec Katowice (Śląskie by Siemianowice) will be dedicated to the memory of Franco Balleriniego. Franco Ballerini is a great Italian cyclist, who died Feb. 7, 2010 at the age of 45 years in an accident during a car rally near Florence. Franco was a close friend of the Director of Tour de Pologne, Czeslaw Lang. The fourth day of the race will begin mountain stages. On that day, riders will have to overcome, and Kubalonka Koniakowską Pass, and conducting two rounds of the Castle in Wisła. The next day, on route from the Retreat Jastrzebia Zdroj, players waiting on Równica finish at 8-kilometer-long driveway. However, in the sixth stage (Auschwitz-Bukowina Tatranska) riders will have to face the driveway and into the Sierockie Gliczarów top.
