Trasa proponowanej wycieczki pełna jest niesamowitych wrażeń na każdym jej etapie. Rozpoczyna się w Muzeum Miejskim w Zabrzu, w którym istnieją 3 działy merytoryczne: Historii (m.in. kolekcja „Max Steckel - Kopalnie”), Kultury (m.in. kolekcja „Górnośląskie atelier fotograficzne - dzieci”) i Plastyki (m.in. kolekcja „Śląskie malarstwo naiwne”). Kolejny etap wycieczki to Skansen Górniczy „Królowa Luiza” (SZT), znajdujący się w założonej 220 lat temu kopalni. Skansen składa się z części nadziemnej, z wieżą szybu „Carnall” oraz jedyną w Europie czynną parową maszyną wyciągową z 1915 roku oraz części podziemnej z labiryntem chodników i wyrobisk liczących 1560 metrów.
Następnie, jadąc do Muzeum Górnictwa Węglowego (SZT), miniemy po drodze wzniesioną w 1909 roku wieżę ciśnień zaprojektowaną przez Augusta Kinda oraz radcę budowlanego Friedricha Loose. Muzeum Górnictwa Węglowego (SZT), będące zwieńczeniem owej wycieczki, mieści się w 136-letnim zabytkowym budynku dawnego starostwa powiatowego. W Muzeum znajduje się m.in. XVIII-wieczny kunszt wodny, czyli dawna pompa odwadniająca, będący jedynym tak dobrze zachowanym okazem w całej Europie.

For dozens of years, the City Museum of Zabrze has collected interesting exhibits concerning the history, culture and both professional and non-professional art. Many of the exhibits are memorabilia from Zabrze and the region. In the years 1938-2006, the museum operated in the building at Kraków Square. Since 2008, the collections have been on display as temporary exhibitions in the building at 6 Trzeciego Maja Street.

"Queen Louise” Adit

""Queen Louise"" in Zabrze is the oldest state-run coal mine in Upper Silesia. Its origins date back to 1791. In 1993, the Mining Heritage Park "Queen Louise” was opened in the mine. The biggest attraction is an underground tourist route with a length of over 1.5 km. A visit to the museum provides a unique opportunity to see up close the work of a miner, mining machines and devices, and even taste some of the Silesian dishes.

Museum of Coal Mining

The Museum of Coal Mining in Zabrze is located in a historic nineteenth-century building of the former district administration of Zabrze. This building itself is worth seeing, but the most interesting is the museum exhibition, presenting a rich tradition of coal mining. During a visit to the museum we learn almost everything about coal mining technology and the history of the industry, as well as labor, culture and daily life of miners.
