Moravian-style meat roll
Slice and tenderize the meat. Season with salt and pepper. Dice the onions and bacon and place them on each meat slice, add a slice of dill pickle, roll the meat and tie up with thread. Fry for about 50 minutes.
Moravian-style red cabbage
Chop the bacon and sauté it in the butter with the chopped onion. Chop the cabbage, add to the pot and season with salt and pepper, add bay leaf and allspice. Grate the apples and add them to the cabbage, pouring in ½ cup of water. Cover and stew for about 45 minutes.
Peel the potatoes and boil in salted water. When ready, mash them and let them cool. Add one egg, potato flour and the butter. Knead the dough and form small dumplings. Cook them in boiling water for about 10 minutes.
