Black duck, black dumplings, sour cabbages salad


  • a duck
  • 1 kg of potatoes
  • 0,5 a glass of potato flour
  • 1 kg of sour cabbages
  • 100 g of smoked bacon
  • 1 big onion
  • 4 apples
  • vegetable oil
  • margarine
  • butter
  • spices: salt, pepper, sweet paprika, pinch of sugar




Spice the duck with salt, pepper and paprika pre-baked in butter and margarine. At the end of baking process, add diced apples and stew for approx. 15 minutes.


Boil the potatoes, squeeze, then add 3 grated and strain raw potatoes and potato flour. Knead the dough, for the dumplings and boil the ready formed dumplings. Heat the oil on the frying-pan and fry the dumplings golden.


Boil the cabbages, strain it, add diced onion, season with sugar, pepper. Fry the bacon to make fritons, mix them with cabbages.
