Chicken broth with home-made noodles


  • 70 dag chicken
  • 3 l water
  • 15 dag carrot
  • 10 dag parsley root
  • 10 dag celery
  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon soup seasoning
  • 15 dag noodles



Boil the chicken and vegetables until tender for about one hour, season with salt and pepper. Strain the broth and boil again, adding a teaspoon of soup seasoning and finely chopped boiled vegetables. Add noodles to the boiling broth. When the broth boils, take it off the heat for 15 min until the noodles soften.


This meal was prepared by the Village Women's Club from Owsiszcze during the 4th “Silesian Tastes Festival 2009” in Pszczyna. The Team won 3rd place in amateur category.
