Bieńkowice is one of the villages close to Racibórz, which was mentioned in the middle of the fourteenth century. There is a baroque church of All Saints in the village. It was built in the first half of the eighteenth century, replacing an earlier building standing here. The village is known equestrian procession for its horse procession held on Easter Monday. This tradition on Polish soil is cultivated only in a few villages of Silesia.
