This cave is shrouded in legends. One of them says that it was founded by the devil who, chasing Mr. Twardowski, sat on the top of the hill and by farting with laughter made a hole in the ground.
Dupka is an old Polish term for a hole in the ground. This unique cave is located in the midst of a beech forest behind the Youth Shelter in Siedlec and on the top of the hill called Dupka.
A convenient entrance turning into gentle downsloping passage leading to an extensive chamber, which leads to the lower several-metre long passage ending in numerous crevices. In the cave there are a few flowstone formations, mostly small curtains.
