Trasa zwiedzania liczy niemal 16 km. Trasa zwiedzania zaczyna się od odwiedzenia wybudowanej w 1933 roku Wieży Wyciągowej Szybu „Prezydent” (SZT). W owych czasach była jedną z najnowocześniejszych wieży wyciągowych w Europie. Posiadając dwa koła liniowe o średnicy 5,5 metra, była w stanie wydobyć 500 ton węgla na godzinę. Jej konstrukcja jest żelbetowa i ma wysokość 42 metrów.

Kolejny przystanek na trasie to Muzeum Górnośląskie w Bytomiu. W Dziale Etnografii można tam zobaczyć stałą wystawę pt. „Z życia ludu śląskiego XIX-XX wieku.” Prezentuje ona najważniejsze dziedziny życia społeczności na osiedlach przemysłowych różnych subregionów Górnego Śląska.

"President" Shaft

Chorzów

"The buildings of the former coal mine „Prezydent (President)"" in Chorzow are among the most important monuments of architecture and mining technology in Upper Silesia. A winding tower of the mine is unique on a European scale. It was built of reinforced concrete in the 30s the last century. Next to the tower, there are numerous mine buildings, some of which house the ""Sztygarka"" hotel and restaurant."

The Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom

Bytom

The Upper Silesian Museum in Bytom continues the traditions of the local museum. It was founded in the early twentieth century by members of the Historical and Museum Society of Bytom (Beuthener Geschichtsund Museumsverein). The museum has numerous exhibits in its collections which comprise archeology, ethnography, history, art, history and nature. Exhibitions can be seen in the modernist building at Sobieskiego Street and in the neo-Gothic building of the former District Office at Korfantego Street.

After years of collecting the exhibits, in 2000, he decided to show them to the public. Recently, the owner of the museum expanded its collections for school memorabilia and other miscellaneous."
