The international route linking Bielsko-Biała (on the Polish side) with the Slovakian city of Martin is an excellent offer for fans of long-distance bike rides. Red markings lead from the city on the Biała river through the Soła valley and further to the border pass of Glinka, and finally through Orava and Liptov villages to Martin. The route is about 60 kilometers long in Poland, and about 100 kilometers in Slovakia. Good form and three free days at best are required.

The edifice of the erstwhile Town Hall located
at the Town Hall Square is one of the
emblematic buildings of Bielsko-Biala. It is a
magnificent and elegant building erected in
the Neo-Renaissance style in 1895-1897. It
was designed by Emanuel Rost. The town
hall, like many other buildings in BielskoBiala, clearly refers to the architecture of Vienna.
11 Listopada Street is the main promenade of
Bielsko-Biała. It is a shopping street and once
it was a trade route. It runs through the
historic center of the Old Town of Biała. It is
900 metres long. The origins of the street go
back to the mid-eighteenth century, when it
was given its present shape in 1772-1785. In
that time, it was called Krakowska Street. Most
of the buildings along the street date from the
late eighteenth and the early nineteenth
centuries and represent the so-called
Josephine style, which was then promoted in
the Austrian Empire.
Today's Polish Army Square (Plac Wojska
Polskiego) in Bielsko-Biala is one of the
two market squares of old Biała
Krakowska. It was laid out at the time of
granting the city rights to the town in
1723. It has an approximately rectangular
shape measuring 100 by 80 m. There are
interesting buildings around the square,
whose present form comes mainly from
the nineteenth and the early twentieth
centuries. In the south the square adjoins
11 Listopada Street, which is a pedestrian
zone and the main promenade of the city.
The Hotel „Under the Eagle”, located in the
historic centre of Biała Krakowska, is a
four-storey building erected at the
beginning of the 20th century. Its
architecture is a combination of Secession,
Baroque and Classicism. Nowadays, since
the 1990s it has been an office building
and a shopping centre. Undoubtedly, the
most magnificent part of the hotel is the
splendid Redoute Hall – one of the most
elegant of this kind in Poland.
The House "Under the Frogs" is one of the textbook
examples of Polish Secession. The building located on the
corner of the Wojska Polskiego Square, (the former White
Market), in front of the Martin Luther Lutheran Church,
has a fairytale architecture. It is known primarily for the
portal, which is part of the sculptural composition of the
two feasting frogs, one of which, leaning against the
barrel, holds a glass, and smokes a pipe, while the other
plays the mandolin.
Today's Liberty Square (Plac Wolności) in
Bielsko-Biala is one of the two town markets of
Biała Krakowska. It has an approximately
rectangular shape measuring 75 by 40 m.
The square was laid out in the late eighteenth
century. 11 Listopada Street runs along its
southern frontage. It is the main promenade
and shopping street in Bielsko-Biala. The
paved square is partly a pedestrian zone, and
partly a pay car park and a taxi rank.
