Mount Biakło rises up to height of 340 m above Olsztyn, a town near Częstochowa. It is one of the most picturesque hills of the Polish Jura. Due to its distinctive shape of the rocky ridge, it is sometimes called the Little Jurassic Giewont. A cross in memory of John Paul II's pontificate was erected on the rock. From the top, there is an unforgettable view of the four corners of the world, and the local outcroppings are literally occupied by climbers.
