Kotulin is a village lying in the commune of Toszek, in the district of Gliwice (the village is the furthest point towards the Opole voivodeship!), It is easily accessible when we want to go there by public transport. In this old settlement, whose history goes back to at least the thirteenth century, we can see a neo-Gothic castle. It was built in 1873, at the time when the lands belonged to Counts of Hohenlohe. The residence, which suffered during the Second World War, and has been changed due to the subsequent renovations, nowadays serves as a school building.
