The Cieszyn Tuff Springs is the name of the areas, which include the refuge habitats belonging to the Natura 2000 network. These are the four isolated areas, located in the western part of the Silesian Highlands, which is commonly referred to as the foothills of Cieszyn. A characteristic phenomenon of some local springs is the deposition (i.e., precipitation) of calc – sinter (travertine limestone and tuffs).
