The Valley also often hosts large musical events.

    The Dąbrowskie Basin has its own small lake district – the Dąbrowskie Lake District. This somewhat boisterous name is sometimes referred to a group of the four reservoirs in Dąbrowa Górnicza, known collectively as Pogoria. For years, Pogoria I and Pogoria III have been leisure and recreation centers. Their beaches, spas, guest houses, pubs, clubs, and yacht clubs attract visitors. Anglers are fond of the reservoirs, as are rare species of birds. The largest lake - Pogoria IV still awaits land management.

    Świerklaniec Park is one of the pearls, which was passed to posterity by the Henckel von Donnersmarck family. The park was once a beautiful area surrounding the existing palace, called "Little Versailles" (burned in 1945). The 154-hectare park was established in the English style. One can enjoy more than century-old oaks, chestnuts, maples and yews, and numerous ponds are a haven for anglers. Art lovers can admire original sculptures by French artist, Emmanuel Fremiet.

    Paprocańskie Lake (also called Lake Paprocany) in Tychy is a water reservoir with a first-class water quality, which is located within the city boundaries. Local residents and tourists take delight in ravishing flora and fauna with a number of protected species (such as mute swan and heron). Here, you can relax wonderfully. Everyone will find something for everyone, from the beaches, water sport equipment rental shops, biking and hiking trails to fishing competitions and concerts.

    The section of the Biała Przemsza river valley on the outskirts of Dąbrowa Górnicza is characterized by very picturesque areas of the backwaters of the river, as well as small hills and riverside slopes. There are a number of plant communities. It is also home to some interesting fauna, including beavers. Thanks to the hiking and nature trails, we can learn more about the area. The Biała Pszemsza also attracts fans of canoeing.

    The Palowice Lake District is a popular name of the charming corner of Upper Silesia, just north of Żory, in the National Park "Cistercian Landscape Compositions of Rudy Wielkie". Pine forests reflect themselves on the surface of numerous breeding ponds, which were created many years ago in the Jesionka valley, a right tributary of the Ruda. The place is full of protected plants and animals and it is accessible to tourists thanks to many walking, Cycling and skiing trails.

    The Pond “Posmyk” is located in the heart of the vast Lubliniec forest, in Kokotek, a tourist resort area of Lubliniec. Enthusiasts of recreation are attracted here by a rather shallow body of water with a length of more than 1.5 and a width of about 1 km. The resort offers swimming beaches, a water sports equipment rental shop and more. It is interesting to see some rare species of birds, or take part in a challenging race called the Convict’s Run.

    Zalew Porajski to zbiornik wodny znajdujący się w podczęstochowskiej gminie Poraj, powstały przez spiętrzenie wód rzeki Warty. Jezioro utworzone w latach 70-tych XX w. jest malowniczym akwenem, który zdążył się wpisać w tutejszy krajobraz oraz sprawił, że wokół powstały liczne zabudowania letniskowe. Zalew przyciąga także wędkarzy. Natomiast stan czystości wody nie pozwalał, niestety, ostatnio na zażywanie kąpieli.
