Szyndzielnia boasts of one of the cable cars in Polish skiing resorts. Szyndzielnia with a height of 1028 m above sea level lies within the boundaries of Bielsko-Biała. Polish fortifications built in 1939 in the region of Bielsko were part of a defensive system, which had a length of about 10 km and was located in the area of the stream valleys of the Wapienica and Iłownica and the Klimczok massif. The fortifications protected the city from the west and north, and were one of the largest networks of the Polish positions in that time. They were constructed in the spring and summer of 1939. 21 shelters, which were then built, have been preserved until today.

The Museum of Marine Fauna and Flora in Jaworze Średnie is unique in the country. The museum operates at the Junior School No. 1 thanks to the efforts of its students and teachers. It was established through the generosity of one of the residents - boatswain Erwin Pasterny. He donated his collections of the fauna and flora of the South Seas to his former school. In 2011, an idea was launched erect a modern museum building.
